Choose love.

I haven’t been updating. Been busy trying to figure some things out. Spending a lot of time after work volunteering with the high-school students and I also just started volunteering with a new program with K-10th graders.
I guess the main thing I have to remember–and I guess we all do– is to do the best we can with our own lives. Make sure that we are doing all that we can to make this world a better place; to empower these kids with the knowledge they need to succeed and thrive in this life. We may feel like we’re not doing enough but even touching one life is better than none. Look for the positive in every moment of everyday.
If we look at the big picture all the time, it’s easy to get discouraged and feel down on ourselves. Look around. Choose light. Choose love. It’s all around us. We just need to embrace it.
